My Baby’s First Month Birthday

My son, Janrei Keven, was born last October 16, 2009 weighing 3950 grams.  His mother had to undergo c-section because of complication in pregnancy.  Now, my baby Keven is exactly 1 month old (Nov 16, 2009).  We had some foods to celebrate his one month old birthday.  We had spaghetti, cake, softdrinks and bico.  (I’ll be posting some pix few days alter).

We have celebrated his birthday together with my parents.  They are the one taking care of my son for now.  It was really fun and I’m very thankful to our Creator for giving me my adorable son.  My baby now is 5000 grams (approximately), and 21 inches in length.  His cap size is 37 cm.

Do you think, it’s worth it celebrating your son/daugther’s birthday per month during the first 12 months?  Personally, I do it for fun and enjoyment of my family but not because it’s required or something.  For parents out there, what do you think?  Is it practical to celebrate monthy birthdays of your son or daughter during the first 12 months?

As you have said it’s fun, that’s something worth celebrating for. And that means you appreciate the blessing of a healthy and happy baby. ;-)
